The most recent french recommandations on physical activity (PA) and sedentary behaviour (SB) argue that youth (6-17) engage in at least 60 minutes per day of moderate-to-vigorous PA (MVPA), and adults (aged 18 and more) engage in al least 30 minutes per day of MVPA at least 5 times a week (aged 18 and more), and for all to limit total sedentary time. Surveillance of PA and SB levels and patterns is important for the effective implementation of actions, as well as for the definition and evaluation of strategies and policies.[RA]
