  • To conduct epidemiological surveillance of Parkinson's disease (prevalence, incidence, temporal trends, geographic distribution)

  • To study prognostic factors for the disease (mortality, associated morbidities, frequency and reasons for hospitalizations)

  • To study the association between occupational or environmental exposures and health behaviors and the risk of Parkinson’s disease

  • Providing information to public health authorities and healthcare professionals
