Data

The influenza surveillance system established by Santé publique France makes it possible to study the epidemiological trends of this viral disease on an annual basis.

Epidemiological Situation of Influenza in France

For the 2025–2026 season, the agency is implementing an “integrated” surveillance system for acute respiratory infections (ARIs), including COVID-19, influenza, and bronchiolitis (RSV), under a single weekly reporting format. This multi-source surveillance system allows for a better assessment of the public health burden of ARIs and their impact on healthcare provision.
