In Week 36 (August 31–September 6, 2026), activity at SOS Médecins clinics increased
among children under 15 (+9%, or +1,538 visits) and remained stable or decreased in other age groups
compared to the previous week.

All monitored indicators remain at levels comparable to—or even lower than—those
of previous years, with the exception of anxiety, which is higher among children
.

With the start of the school year, there has been an increase in the number of cases among children for:

• Respiratory and allergic conditions: asthma (+30%, or +51 visits) among children under 15 and upper respiratory tract conditions among children under 2 (+26%, or +375 visits), as well as allergies among children under 15 (+25%, or +84 visits).
• Gastrointestinal conditions: vomiting (+52%, or +76 visits) and gastroenteritis (+12%, or +167 visits) among children under 15, and acute abdominal pain among children aged 2–14 (+25%, or +73 visits).
• Isolated fever among children aged 2–14 (+19%, or +61 cases).
• Trauma among children aged 2–14 (+21%, or +129 cases).
• Mental health: anxiety among children under 15.

Among adults, there was an increase in visits among those aged 75 and older for falls and trauma (respectively, +12% and +7%, or +21 and +30 cases) as well as among those aged 15–64 for anxiety and depressive disorders (respectively, +10%, or +154 cases, and +16%, or +52 cases).
