A program addressing major public health challenges

Held since 2016, this must-attend scientific gathering in public health is open to all and brings together nearly 1,200 French, European, and international experts: the scientific community, decision-makers, civil society, and stakeholders from the national public health network. Its purpose is to promote the sharing of experiences and best practices, as well as to provide context for the major challenges and key lessons in public health and public policy, with the aim of fostering an environment conducive to population health.

French and international speakers, as well as experts from Santé publique France, will present their latest research and explore current topics, sharing their experiences and expertise in public policy aimed at promoting population health. They will also discuss a variety of topics to put working methods and their resulting outcomes into perspective at the regional, national, European, and international levels.

Awards Ceremony for the First Edition of the Odissé Dataviz Challenge

For the first time, Santé publique France organized the “Odissé Dataviz Challenge” from September 28 to October 10, 2026, and the winners will be honored during the Rencontres.
The Odissé Dataviz Challenge invites students, researchers, and professionals in design, data, and health—as well as data journalists—to use the open data from the Odissé platform to create original visualizations addressing three major challenges: mental health, the impacts of heat, and social and regional health inequalities.

The best data visualizations will be exhibited and awarded prizes at the end of the Santé publique France Rencontres event in the exhibition area.
