Key Points

  • In Week 11 (March 10–16, 2025), emergency department visits and hospitalizations following such visits remained stable compared to the previous week across all age groups.

  • There was an increase in emergency department visits for asthma attacks among children under 15 (+24%, or +470 visits) and those aged 15–74 (+7%, or +69 visits), and for pneumonia among those aged 2–14 (+12%, or +32 visits). An increase in visits is also observed for gastroenteritis (+11%, or +395 visits) among those under 15 and for general malaise (+11%, or +63 visits) and ENT infections (+7%, or +280 visits) among those aged 2–14.

  • There was also an increase in visits among children under 15 for suicide attempts (+36%, or +60 visits), reaching levels higher than in previous years.

  • Admissions related to other indicators are stable or declining.
