Key Points
In Week 11 (March 10–16, 2025), emergency department visits and hospitalizations following such visits remained stable compared to the previous week across all age groups.
There was an increase in emergency department visits for asthma attacks among children under 15 (+24%, or +470 visits) and those aged 15–74 (+7%, or +69 visits), and for pneumonia among those aged 2–14 (+12%, or +32 visits). An increase in visits is also observed for gastroenteritis (+11%, or +395 visits) among those under 15 and for general malaise (+11%, or +63 visits) and ENT infections (+7%, or +280 visits) among those aged 2–14.
There was also an increase in visits among children under 15 for suicide attempts (+36%, or +60 visits), reaching levels higher than in previous years.
Admissions related to other indicators are stable or declining.
