  • Widespread decline in hospital emergency department activity in 2020, particularly during the first lockdown (March–April 2020)

  • Overall decline in indicators related to mental health disorders in 2020 and 2021 among adults

  • Increase in psychological disorders among children aged 11 to 18 from the fourth quarter of 2020 through the first half of 2021

  • Increase in visits due to suicidal ideation among children from late 2020 through the first half of 2021

Data on medical procedures from the SOS Médecins associations

  • General decline in activity at SOS Médecins in 2020, particularly during the first lockdown (March–April 2020)

  • Increase in cases of anxiety among adults during the first lockdown in 2021

CoviPrev data

  • Decrease in reported depressive disorders since the end of the third lockdown

  • Slight increase in reported anxiety disorders since mid-July 2021.
