Key Points

Allergies

  • The number of emergency room visits for allergies and the number of SOS Médecins consultations are down in week 38 of 2023.

Bronchiolitis (in children under 2 years of age)

  • The number of emergency room visits and SOS Médecins consultations for bronchiolitis remains similar to the figures observed in previous seasons.

Chikungunya, dengue, Zika

  • From May 1 to September 27, 2023, 51 cases of dengue and 1 case of chikungunya were confirmed in the Grand Est region.

Arthropod bites

  • The number of emergency room visits for arthropod bites, as well as the number of SOS Médecins consultations, decreased in week 38 of 2023.

COVID-19

  • Oscour®: In week 38 of 2023, the number of emergency room visits for COVID-19 declined slightly (238 visits compared to 261 in week 37 of 2023), representing 0.9% of total activity;

  • SOS Médecins: In week 38 of 2023, the number of SOS Médecins consultations for COVID-19 increased slightly (278 consultations compared to 233 in week 37 of 2023), representing 4.0% of the activity of SOS Médecins associations in the region.
