COVID-19
In week 18 of 2023, the incidence rate continued to decline (48 cases per 100,000 population compared to 69 in week 17 of 2023);
The incidence rate is decreasing across all age groups. The lowest incidence rate is still observed among those aged 0–9 (9 cases per 100,000 inhabitants). The highest incidence rate is still observed among those aged 80 and older (120 cases per 100,000 inhabitants);
Departmental incidence rates are decreasing across all departments compared to the previous week. The highest incidence rate is observed in Meurthe-et-Moselle (60 cases per 100,000 inhabitants) and the lowest is observed in Haute-Marne (32 cases per 100,000 inhabitants);
The positivity rate (15%) is stable compared to the previous week;
The testing rate is 323 tests per 100,000 inhabitants in week 18 of 2023; it is declining across all age groups.
Influenza and influenza-like illnesses
OSCOUR®: In week 18-2023, the number of emergency department visits for flu-like illness, across all ages, continued to decline (31 compared to 49 in week 17-2023). The proportion of flu-related visits is also decreasing, with 0.1% of emergency department visits linked to the flu.
SOS Médecins: The number of consultations for flu-like illness, across all age groups, continues to decline (174 consultations compared to 199 in Week 17 of 2023), representing 5.7% of total activity.
Acute Gastroenteritis
OSCOUR®: The number of emergency department visits for acute gastroenteritis (AGI), all ages, is decreasing compared to the previous week, with 239 visits in Week 18 of 2023, representing 1.0% of total activity.
SOS Médecins: The number of consultations for acute gastroenteritis (AGI), all ages, has increased compared to the previous week, with 432 consultations (compared to 401 in Week 17 of 2023), representing a 6.4% share of activity.
