Allergies
Oscour®: In week 28-2023, the number of emergency room visits related to allergies is on the rise (327 visits vs. 245 in week 27-2023). The share of activity is 1.3%, which is similar to expected seasonal values.
SOS Médecins: In week 28-2023, the number of consultations for allergies fluctuated after a decrease over five consecutive weeks (142 consultations vs. 105 in week 27-2023). The share of activity for SOS Médecins associations in the region is 2.2%, which is close to figures from previous years during the same period.
Chikungunya, Dengue, Zika
From May 1 to July 13, 2023, 9 cases of dengue and 1 case of chikungunya were reported in the Grand Est region.
COVID-19
Oscour®: In week 28 of 2023, the number of emergency room visits for COVID-19 decreased (16 visits compared to 25 in week 27 of 2023), representing 0.1% of activity;
SOS Médecins: In week 28 of 2023, the number of SOS Médecins consultations for COVID-19 remained stable (19 consultations compared to 11 in week 27 of 2023), representing 0.3% of the activity of SOS Médecins associations in the region.
Arthropod bites
Oscour®: In week 28-2023, the number of visits and the share of activity related to arthropod bites and other venomous or non-venomous animals increased in the region’s emergency departments compared to the previous week.
SOS Médecins: In week 28 of 2023, the number of consultations and the share of activity related to insect bites at SOS Médecins associations in the region increased compared to the previous week.
