Key Points

COVID-19

  • In Week 04, viral circulation stabilized at a low level. A decline in the positivity rate was observed alongside an increase in the testing rate.

  • Excluding virological monitoring indicators, all COVID-19 monitoring indicators (hospitalizations and critical care admissions, SOS Médecins calls, emergency room visits, and COVID-19-related deaths) are stable or declining.

Bronchiolitis

  • 4th week post-epidemic.

  • In week 04, all regions in mainland France are out of the epidemic phase.

  • In the Centre-Val de Loire region, an increase is observed in SOS Médecins indicators, while emergency department data remain stable.

Flu

  • Week 5 of the epidemic.

  • In week 04, activity was on the rise in hospital emergency departments and at SOS Médecins.

  • Nearly all positive flu test results were for type A viruses

Gastroenteritis and acute diarrhea

  • SOS Médecins: High activity level, declining

  • Hospital emergency departments: Moderate activity level, decreasing
