  • Increase in the incidence rate (IR) across all departments. Cher is the department with the highest IR in the region and the most marked increase

  • IR rising across all age groups, with higher rates among people aged 20 to 49

  • Increase in the positivity rate across all departments. Less pronounced increase among symptomatic individuals

  • Increase in the testing rate

  • Increase in emergency room visits for suspected COVID-19

  • Stabilization of new hospitalizations and new admissions to intensive care

Prevention

  • Regional vaccination coverage as of November 16: 76.9% for one dose, 75.7% for the full course, and 7.9% for the booster dose

  • Vaccination coverage among people aged 65 and older eligible* for the booster dose was 70.5% (68.1% nationally)

  • Importance of combined measures: vaccination, including the booster dose for those aged 65 and older, participation in contact tracing, and adherence to preventive measures
