Bronchiolitis

Chikungunya, dengue, Zika

  • Surveillance of chikungunya, dengue, and Zika cases began on May 1, 2023: a total of 159 imported dengue cases—mostly from Martinique and Guadeloupe—and 9 cases of chikungunya have been identified in the region.

COVID-19

  • In Week 41 (October 9–15, 2023), SARS-CoV-2 circulation is at a moderate level in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and is trending downward. The number of people testing positive for SARS-CoV-2 in the lab is declining, emergency room visits are stable, and SOS Médecins calls for suspected COVID-19 cases are decreasing.

Flu

  • Start of surveillance. Emergency room visits and SOS Médecins calls for flu-like symptoms are at low levels expected for the season.
