Santé publique France is France’s national public health agency. A public institution under the authority of the Minister of Health, established by Order No. 2016-246 of April 15, 2016, it works to promote public health. As a scientific and expert agency in the health sector, its missions include:
The agency is organized around scientific and cross-functional departments, as well as departments providing operational support.
Its work program, approved by its Board of Directors, is structured around five priority areas: health determinants, populations, diseases, interventions and regions, and infrastructure.

implementation and oversight of:
He ensures a framework that fosters the development of pilot projects for new
prevention measures, the evaluation of the effectiveness of prevention
programs and actions, and their impact on health, taking into account social and regional health
inequalities. It must strive to strengthen scientific work aimed at grounding
public health interventions in evidence, by developing an approach based
on expertise and openness to stakeholders.
It develops and consolidates Santé publique France’s position as a national and international agency
of expertise and reference in the field of
prevention and health promotion.
