How is the French public’s adherence to COVID-19 prevention measures changing? Results from Wave 29 of the CoviPrev survey

Key Points

Wave 29 (October 28–November 5) and comparison with the September 2021 wave

  • 88% (=) of respondents support COVID-19 vaccination: they have either already received at least one dose of the vaccine or intend to do so.

  • 74% (+5%) of parents of children aged 12 to 18 support their children getting vaccinated against COVID-19. 66% (=) of respondents say they always wear a mask in public.

  • 54% (-5%) of respondents say they consistently greet others without shaking hands and avoid hugging.

  • 57% (=) of respondents say they wash their hands regularly. 22% (+7%) of unvaccinated respondents say they would not get tested if they had symptoms.
