    Overseas territories:
    • Réunion: incidence rate remains high and critical care admissions are rising slightly

Variants

  • Over 99% of cases identified as the Delta variant through sequencing during the S45 Flash survey (November 8–10)

  • 8 confirmed cases of the Omicron variant in France as of December 2 at 4:00 p.m.

    • 77.4% of the total population had received at least one dose, and 75.8% were fully vaccinated

    • Among those aged 65 and older, 42.9% had received a booster dose; this rate rose to 78.5% among eligible individuals in this age group

  • Severe cases in intensive care from September 1 to November 30:

    • 76% of those under 65 were unvaccinated or incompletely vaccinated
