Syndromic surveillance

• Activity remained stable in hospital emergency departments during week 33 but increased in general practice (SOS Médecins network) across all age groups. This increase is typical for this time of year.

• In both networks, there was an increase in consultations for digestive symptoms, including gastroenteritis, across all age groups.

• After declining in week 32, pertussis is on the rise this week in both networks, among adults and children.

Wastewater surveillance

• In week 33, the downward trend in the level of SARS-CoV-2 circulation in wastewater continued throughout France.
