Aspects of daily life in detention.

Prison conditions depend on numerous individual and environmental factors that can negatively impact living conditions. Daily routines, roll calls, meals, access to visiting rooms, work, sports, and education are all variables that shape life in prison. In addition to the internal regulations of the facilities, there are regulatory texts and specific provisions for minors. Living conditions—including overcrowding in certain facilities—must still be improved to ensure effective access to existing services.
