At Santé publique France, engagement with stakeholders and dialogue with civil society are aimed, in particular, at ensuring that the agency’s work is aligned with societal changes and at reducing the risk of overlooking or underestimating the concerns or specific knowledge of citizens and stakeholders regarding public health. This approach received special attention during the agency’s planning phase, with the goal of establishing “a Steering and Dialogue Committee open to civil society to inform the new agency about civil society’s expectations.” Today, Santé publique France is publishing the committee’s 2023 report.
