The Health Barometers are periodic surveys, conducted since 1992, designed to gain a better understanding of the knowledge, attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors of the French population regarding health.

Public Health France Barometers

The Santé publique France Health Barometer: a survey of health-related behaviors, opinions, and knowledge designed to guide public health prevention and education policies.

In 2018, Santé publique France launched the 10th edition of the Health Barometer, with the aim of guiding public health policies on smoking prevention and public education.

The fieldwork for the survey took place from January 10 to July 25, 2018, with 9,076 people aged 18 to 75. Landline and mobile phone numbers were randomly generated. The telephone interview lasted an average of 10 minutes.
