Vaccination coverage in France in 2001

This article describes the assessment methods and key findings regarding vaccination coverage in France in 2001. The various surveys target several age groups: 2 years old (24-month health certificates), 3–4 years old (preschool health checkups), ages 5–16 (various surveys), and adults (various surveys). Changes in vaccination coverage are analyzed between 1992 and 2001 for 2-year-olds (DTP and pertussis, polio, Haemophilus influenzae type b, BCG, measles, mumps, rubella, and hepatitis B vaccines), and between 1979 and 1999 for measles (2- and 6-year-olds).
