In Week 28 (June 6–July 12, 2026), activity at SOS Médecins clinics was down again compared to the previous week among children, due to the start of school vacation, particularly among 2- to 14-year-olds (-13%, or -2,896 visits), and remained stable among adults.

This decrease in activity among children aged 2–14 was primarily driven by trauma cases (-12%, or -1,650 cases).

Against the backdrop of a new heat wave across the country during Week 28, there was another increase in cases involving:

• Heatstroke across all age groups (+19%, or +138 cases) and dehydration among adults (+37%, or +79 cases), with case numbers higher than in previous years during this period,
• Insect bites across all age groups (+7%, or +95 cases), with case numbers remaining typical for this time of year.

In addition, there was an increase in cases:

• among children under 2 years of age, for isolated fever (+7%, or +23 cases), viral syndrome (+16%, or +23 cases), diarrhea (+29%, or +29 cases), and allergies (+26%, or +22 cases).
• among adults, for vomiting (+30%, or +85 cases), urinary tract infections in those aged 75 and older (+18%, or +50 cases), and asthma attacks in those aged 15–74 (+14%, or +49 cases).

The number of cases involving deaths among people aged 75 and older decreased slightly compared to the previous week (-5%, or -16 cases), with figures comparable to those of the previous two years.
