  • Children under 3 years of age remain more affected than other age groups, but with a declining incidence in 2024:

    • Incidence of 1.78 cases per 100,000 children in 2024 versus 4.01 cases per 100,000 children in 2023

    • Stable proportion of children under 3 years of age among reported cases (60% of cases in 2024)

  • Low number of suspected clusters and no documented outbreaks in 2024
