  • Trend in weekly incidence of reported cases: epidemic peak in week 13 (W13 2018), followed by a rapid decline in the weekly number of cases since then

  • As of October 14, 2018, 2,805 cases reported since November 6, 2017, including 2,727 in 2018

  • 85 departments reported at least 1 case during the period, but currently only two regions are each reporting an active outbreak

  • Highest incidence among children under 1 year of age: 30.7 cases per 100,000 inhabitants

  • 23% of reported cases were hospitalized

  • 89% of measles cases occurred in unvaccinated or inadequately vaccinated individuals

  • 3 deaths since the beginning of 2018
