Typing and sensitivity testing of Chlamydia trachomatis strains isolated in France, 1999–2001.

In order to genotype strains of Chlamydia trachomatis identified in cases of urogenital infections in France and to study their antibiotic susceptibility, a study was conducted by the National Reference Center (CNR) for Chlamydia to assess the feasibility of such an approach using frozen biological samples.
