  • Declining viral circulation.

Extreme heat, heat wave

  • In S30, emergency department activity for conditions potentially related to heat is on the rise among those aged 75 and older, as are hospitalizations (all ages).

  • Activity at SOS Médecins associations for conditions potentially related to heat is decreasing.

Chikungunya, dengue, Zika

  • Since May 1, surveillance of chikungunya, dengue, and Zika cases has identified 8 imported dengue cases in the region: 3 from Cuba, 1 from Costa Rica, 1 from Brazil, 1 from Thailand, 1 from Réunion, and 1 from Indonesia.
