Over the past week in the region:

• the flu outbreak has stabilized,

• ICU units have reported 12 cases of severe flu over the past month,

• the number of emergency room visits by people aged 75 and older remains high but is decreasing,

• slight excess in the number of deaths among people aged 85 and older compared to the expected number for the season,

• a decrease in the number of clusters of acute respiratory infections (ARI) in long-term care facilities,

• a moderate gastroenteritis outbreak persists.
