Epidemiological Surveillance in the Pays de la Loire Region. Update as of June 7, 2016.

Over the past week in the region:

SOS Médecins has reported an increase in allergy cases, likely linked to grass pollen counts. Information on pollen risks is available on the websites of the Pollinarium sentinel stations (Nantes, Saint-Nazaire, Angers, and Laval) (http://www.airpl.org/Pollens/pollinariums-sentinelles) and the National Aerobiological Monitoring Network (RNSA) (http://www.pollens.fr/docs/vigilance.html).Note the significant presence of phytoplankton and phycotoxins in the Loire-Atlantique and northern Vendée regions, which has led to orders banning shellfish harvesting.
