Over the past week in the region:

The bronchiolitis epidemic peaked in week 49, with the following trends in week 50: - a slight decrease in the number of bronchiolitis diagnoses reported by the SOS Médecins network (15% of diagnoses in children under 2 years of age),- at both university hospitals, a decrease in RSV isolations, and at Nantes University Hospital, a slight decrease in emergency department visits for bronchiolitis among children under two years of age (36%) ,- at the regional level, a high number of emergency department visits by children under one year of age in the region’s seven sentinel hospitals, due largely to a significant increase in visits to Le Mans General Hospital, while the two university hospitals showed a decrease in visits.

No flu activity or increase in the number of gastroenteritis cases has been reported yet.
