Over the past week in the region:

• The flu epidemic has begun to decline,

• Intensive care units have reported 17 cases of severe flu since February,

• The number of emergency room visits by people aged 75 and older remains high for the season,

• A sharp decrease in the number of clusters of acute respiratory infections in facilities housing the elderly,

• Moderate decline in cases of gastroenteritis.
