COVID-19: Epidemiological Update for Mayotte as of January 27, 2022

Over the past two weeks, a sharp decline in indicators has been observed. The epidemic peak was passed in week S01-2022, and the epidemic trend points toward a decline in monitoring indicators.

The incidence of COVID-19 fell from 1,164 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in week 02-2022 to 380 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in week 03-2022, representing a 67% decrease in one week. This decline is observed across all age groups, but it is much more pronounced in age groups over 15 years old.
