Bronchiolitis

  • Pre-epidemic phase.

  • SOS Médecins: The number of cases diagnosed with bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age has varied over the past few weeks. In week 40-2023, 12 procedures for the diagnosis of bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age were recorded, representing 3.5% of the overall activity of SOS Médecins associations in this age group (17 procedures in week 39-2023).

  • Oscour® Network: cases involving a diagnosis of bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age remained stable compared to the previous week

COVID-19

  • SOS Médecins: cases involving suspected or confirmed COVID-19 were down compared to the previous week (206 cases, or 419 cases per 10,000 consultations).

  • Réseau Oscour®: visits for suspected COVID-19 remained stable compared to the previous week (293 emergency room visits, or 92 per 10,000 consultations). Of these emergency room visits, 42% resulted in hospitalization.

Gastroenteritis

  • Low activity in private practice (SOS Médecins) and low in hospital settings (Oscour® network).
