Indicators continue to decline in emergency departments (for both visits and hospitalizations) and are stabilizing in community settings (SOS Médecins and Sentinelles) across all age groups. Among those under 15, activity at SOS Médecins clinics is stabilizing after a resurgence over the past 3 weeks. The flu positivity rate in hospital laboratories is declining.
Bronchiolitis
The bronchiolitis epidemic ended last week. Indicators continue to decline overall, with a return to low levels across all epidemic surveillance indicators.
This season, the bronchiolitis outbreak lasted 8 weeks, a short duration. Its intensity was similar to that of the previous year, with indicators remaining at moderate levels at the peak of the outbreak.
