Health Monitoring in the Île-de-France Region. Update as of April 18, 2013.

Summary

In Île-de-France, no specific public health events were noted during Week 15. However, it is worth noting that the regional incidence rate of acute diarrhea was significantly higher than the national epidemic threshold for gastroenteritis during Week 15. This regional rate was also significantly higher than that observed during Week 14. Furthermore, at the beginning of week 16, a temporary increase in emergency department visits for trauma among people aged 2 to under 75 was noted, followed by an increase in hospitalizations. However, the levels reached remained comparable to those reached during the same period in the two previous years.
