  • In Week 52, the measured regional crude incidence rate was 108 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (vs. 232 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 51, a decrease of 53.3%) and continued the downward trend that began in Week 50.

  • At the departmental level, the incidence rate decreased across all departments in the Île-de-France region.

  • The testing rate stood at 939 tests per 100,000 inhabitants and showed a sharp decline in Week 52 (-50.5%) at the regional level. It was declining sharply across all departments in the Île-de-France region.

  • The regional positivity rate was 11.5% and decreased slightly across the region as a whole and in all departments.

  • The significant decline in the measured incidence rate was partly due to reduced testing, linked in particular to the end-of-year holiday period.
