Franc-Moisin Health Center: A Fusion of Social Work and Healthcare [Interview].

Interview with Didier Ménard, physician, president of the ACSBE, and founder of the Franc-Moisin Health Center, now known as La Place Santé in Saint-Denis. The Franc-Moisin Health Center in Saint-Denis, Seine-Saint-Denis, is the result of an initiative by dedicated healthcare professionals, supported by the local government and various institutions. Patients arrive at the center with their own cultural backgrounds and environments; the team has integrated health mediators and works with interpreters. Twenty years after its creation, this health center remains vulnerable, despite the services it provides and its efforts to reduce inequalities. Its financial sustainability is still not assured.
