Inland French Guiana: A mobile public health team reaches out to residents of remote communities [Interview].

In the interior of French Guiana, a mobile public health team composed of doctors, nurses, community workers, and other health and social service professionals travels to isolated communities—including Amerindians, Bushinengues, and other indigenous peoples—by road, canoe, and ATV. The goal is to improve access to healthcare and preventive services by implementing health promotion initiatives.
