COVID-19

  • In Week 50, the spread of SARS-CoV-2 appears to be slowing in the Centre-Val de Loire region. Virological indicators, emergency room visits, and SOS Médecins consultations were down, although indicators of severity (hospitalizations, deaths) continued to rise.

  • Positivity rate (PR) and incidence rate (IR) are declining. Hospital admissions and deaths are rising.

  • The BA.5 sublineage has been stable and predominant since week S24; among sequenced tests, the proportion of the BQ1.1 sublineage has been predominant since week 44 (69% in S49).

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Activity remains stable at SOS Médecins and hospital emergency departments.

Bronchiolitis

  • 10th week of the epidemic: activity declining at SOS Médecins and hospital emergency departments.

Influenza and influenza-like illness

  • Activity on the rise at SOS Médecins and hospital emergency departments.
