Summary

Influenza and influenza-like illness: A very slight increase in the number of visits to both emergency departments and SOS Médecins, which does not confirm the onset of a pre-epidemic phase.Moderate circulation of type B viruses, stable at Rennes University Hospital (positivity rate of 8% out of 62 samples), very low at Brest University Hospital (positivity rate of 2% out of 68 samples). First isolation of a type A virus from a sample analyzed at Rennes University Hospital.

GastroenteritisModerate activity in primary care: incidence rate of acute diarrhea estimated at 168 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (95% CI [85, 251], unconsolidated Sentinelles data).Low and stable use of hospital and community emergency departments: gastroenteritis accounts for 1% of diagnoses in emergency departments and 8% (up) of those reported by SOS Médecins associations.
