  • Sharp rise in indicators in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté as well as across France

Monitoring of winter illnesses

  • Flu: Activity at SOS Médecins and emergency departments related to the flu is currently low. Since the start of surveillance for severe flu cases admitted to intensive care (as of October 5, 2020), no cases have been reported in the region.

  • Bronchiolitis: The percentage of bronchiolitis cases among diagnoses in children under 2 years of age (red curve) is within the ranges observed during the two previous seasons for both SOS Médecins and emergency departments.

  • Gastroenteritis: The percentages of gastroenteritis among diagnoses made by SOS Médecins and hospital emergency departments are currently well below the rates of the two previous seasons.
