Public Health Surveillance in Rhône-Alpes. Epidemiological Update as of September 13, 2012

Situation in Rhône-Alpes

  • Acute Diarrhea: The incidence rate of acute diarrhea reported by the Sentinelles network was 138 per 100,000 inhabitants in week 35 and decreased to 78 per 100,000 inhabitants in week 36. The incidence rate therefore remains below the epidemic threshold.

  • Ragweed: The risk of ragweed allergies is highest in the Rhône Valley (from Lyon to Montélimar) and in the Dauphiné region. The rest of these departments (Rhône, Isère, and Drôme) are on orange alert. People with allergies should be particularly cautious.
