COVID-19

In Week 42 (October 18–24, 2021), COVID-19 virological surveillance indicators are rising in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, but hospital indicators remain stable.

  • 17% increase in the regional incidence rate: 49 per 100,000 inhabitants

  • Haute-Loire has the highest incidence rate (92 per 100,000 inhabitants), followed by Haute-Savoie (63 per 100,000), Ardèche, and Drôme (55 per 100,000)

  • Stabilization of new hospitalizations, new deaths, and admissions to critical care for COVID-19

  • Increase in vaccination coverage for at least 1 dose against COVID-19 (76.2%, +0.3 percentage points) and full vaccination series (74.5%, +0.3 percentage points)

Gastroenteritis

  • Regional trend: on the rise

  • In hospital settings (Oscour® network emergency facilities): moderate activity

  • In private practice (SOS Médecins associations): moderate activity

Bronchiolitis

2nd week of the epidemic.

Flu

No flu epidemic. Baseline levels of surveillance indicators in week 42 (emergency room visits and SOS Médecins calls for flu-like illness), with sporadic cases of confirmed flu detected since early September.
