SOS Médecins: 1,416 cases of suspected COVID-19 per 10,000 in S15 (1,919/10,000 in S14)
Sentinelles Network: 171 consultations for acute respiratory infections per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 15 (277/100,000 in Week 14)
Community laboratories: 16% positive tests in S15 (20% in S14)
Surveillance in long-term care facilities, including nursing homes
9,443 cases (residents and staff), including 917 deaths reported as of April 14, 2020
Hospital surveillance
Oscour® network: 1,174 visits for suspected COVID-19 per 10,000 (1,720/10,000 in Week 14)
Hospital laboratories: 17% of tests positive in Week 15 (21% in Week 14)
SI-VIC: 3,004 people hospitalized, including 639 in intensive care as of April 15, 2020
Sentinel intensive care units: 54% of cases aged 65 and older; nearly 3 out of 4 patients are men; 74% have ARDS; 55% of cases have at least one risk factor.
Mortality monitoring
Significant increase in excess all-cause mortality in week 14 (+46%)
66% of people who died in the hospital are over 80 years old.
