Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation

During August and September, activity related to influenza-like illness remained moderate. An estimated 3,168 consultations for influenza-like illness were conducted by private practitioners and at public health centers during this period. Samples analyzed at the IPG’s CNR Influenzae show that influenza A and B viruses are circulating in equal proportions. To prevent the disease and reduce the risk of serious complications or death, health authorities have launched a vaccination campaign, particularly targeting at-risk individuals (people aged 65 and older, certain patients with chronic conditions, pregnant women, etc.).
