Epidemiological Situation of Gastroenteritis in Guadeloupe. Update as of March 29, 2012.

The gastroenteritis outbreak detected in early 2012 peaked in late January, during week 2012-04, when an estimated 2,300 cases were reported.

Since then, the weekly number of visits to general practitioners for gastroenteritis has been steadily declining.

Over the past two weeks (weeks 2012-11 and 12), it has returned to a level equal to and then below the maximum values expected for the season.
