Epidemiological Situation of Dengue Fever in Guadeloupe. Update as of April 2, 2012. 

Situation Analysis

  • Between early January and late February 2012, the weekly number of dengue-like cases remained stable. It stayed below the maximum threshold expected for the period, as did the number of laboratory-confirmed cases.

  • The same trend has been observed since the beginning of 2011.

  • No dengue outbreaks have been detected.

  • The epidemiological situation of dengue in Guadeloupe corresponds to Phase 1 of the Psage Dengue: Sporadic transmission
