Situation Analysis

Since the third week of September (week 2012-38), the number of bronchiolitis cases seen in general practice has exceeded the maximum values expected for the season.This rapid increase continued through the second week of October (2012-41), which may have marked the peak of the epidemic with an estimated 180 cases. This number did indeed decrease the following week (2012-42) to an estimated 124 cases.
