Situation Analysis
Since the third week of September (week 2012-38), the number of bronchiolitis cases seen in general practice has exceeded the maximum expected values for the season. This rapid increase continued until the epidemic peaked during the second week of October (2012-41), with an estimated 180 cases. For the past three consecutive weeks, this number has been declining, remaining slightly above the expected peak values during the past week.
