Dengue Surveillance in Guadeloupe and the Northern Islands. Update as of September 3, 2020.

Epidemiological Situation

Guadeloupe: Over the past three weeks (August 10–30), dengue surveillance indicators have shown a resurgence in viral circulation within the territory. The epidemic continues, and serotype 2 remains the predominant circulating serotype.

Saint Martin: A decrease in clinically suspected dengue cases seen in private practice and low activity in hospitals has been observed over the past two weeks, 2020-34 and 2020-35 (August 17–30). The epidemic continues, and the predominant circulating serotype is serotype 1.

Saint Barthélemy: Surveillance indicators remain very high, the epidemic continues to spread, and the virus is circulating throughout the island. The predominant circulating serotype remains serotype 2.
