Guadeloupe: Dengue activity on the rise
Increase in the weekly number of clinically suggestive cases seen in private practice
One emergency department visit last week (2019-38) not requiring hospitalization
Increase in the weekly number of biologically confirmed cases
Six epidemic foci identified: Capesterre-Belle-Eau (2), Baie-Mahault (2), Petit-Bourg, and Marie-Galante
Identified serotypes: DENV-1, DENV-2, and DENV-3. The DENV-2 serotype is predominant.
Saint Martin: Dengue activity at baseline levels
On average, two clinical cases seen each week in private practice since July 2019
No emergency room visits for dengue since late May
Three laboratory-confirmed cases in early September, including 2 who had traveled to the Dominican Republic
Saint-Barthélemy: No laboratory-confirmed cases identified since October 2016
